I've been inspired by quilts.  I am thinking of painting this sketch on one of the dresser boards.  I have been clicking through the Red and White Quilt Exhibition at the American Folk Art Museum.  I wanted to see it in person!  Now that I live on the east coast, I need to remember that NYC and DC museums are not that far away.
