Sharing a bit of our day...
We spent Thanksgiving crafting wreaths inspired by Jan of Poppytalk and Madewell's beautiful DIY project.  It was such a lovely way to spend the evening.  After dinner we set out on a walk through our neighborhood gathering materials for our wreaths.  We came home and went to work.  The wreaths are simple to make with embroidery thread, twine, and twigs.  My little one had fun adding paint to hers.  It was such a pretty part of the day that I think we will make it a tradition.  Happy holidays to you all!

    This are so delicate and pretty! Yarn, twigs and pinecones...what's not to like?

    So true! Hunting for the materials was refreshing. We were also amazed as we were going along stringing the yarn. It felt really good to keep with the natural shapes and colors. Just adding touches here and there was a lot of fun.
