I was fooling around with watercolor this morning. I painted a little lady on an art card and totally messed up the background. I was so disappointed. I decided to cut her out of the card. Once she was free of the mistake, she reminded me of an old cut up photo. I love when folks cut themselves out of pictures. There is that rough collage feeling and the question of why they felt they had to cut themselves out in the first place. Anyway, I went to put her up somewhere and decided to place her in one of my great aunt's autograph books. I flipped through and found her a page. I had to take a snapshot. I think she fits right in. She looks a bit like a "Martha Ann". Maybe she would be afraid to go home in the dark.
